Treatment is both a science and an Art
Osteopathy is the art of diagnosing and treating, by hand, the dysfunctions of the micro mobility of the tissues of the body which lead to functional disorders which can disturb the state of health.
Osteopathy is both a science and an art. Science because it is based entirely on the anatomy and physiology of the human body. Art because the osteopath develops an exceptional sense of touch allowing him in a unique way, and which is his own, to perceive and feel the tissues of the human body.
An exclusively manual discipline, the osteopath applies the physiology of the human body using an extremely precise knowledge of anatomy.
Osteopathy is a discipline that can respond to acute or chronic conditions of the systems that make up the human body: musculoskeletal, nervous, digestive, vascular or even cranial. And, it is for everyone – adults, children or infants, pregnant women, athletes, the elderly or people with disabilities.
